Space bike riders can once again test their mettle at Oregon Path Times yearly Hill Climb on Saturday, July 9.

The 1.6-mile, time trial race has cyclists traveling up Scotts Bluff Countrywide Monument’s Summit Street. Race organizer Daryl Payne stated the hard course climbs 500 ft as racers ascend the bluff.

The course, though, isn’t so difficult that a novice couldn’t conquer it, he said.

“The typical person, if they journey their bike a couple of periods a week, would be equipped to make it up there with out acquiring to cease and rest,” he explained.

Payne claimed there will be an over-all winner in the male and woman divisions and winners in each individual age team.
