Procession for fallen Elk Grove officer prompts road closures

Elk Grove police will spend tribute to fallen motor officer Tyler Lenehan May perhaps 1 with a horseback and wagon procession.

Lenehan, 44, died Jan. 21, following a visitors collision in which he was struck by a erroneous-way driver on Freeway 99 in close proximity to 47th Avenue in Sacramento. The 6-calendar year office veteran was the 1st in the department’s background to die in the line of obligation.

Elk Grove Law enforcement Office is inviting inhabitants to line the route.
