Ghana Police issues warning letters to 91 indiscipline riders

The Ashanti Regional Law enforcement Command has assured the community of its readiness to root out undisciplined motor riders, tricyclists and motorists in the area.

Deputy Commissioner of Law enforcement (DCOP) Boakye Afful Yiadom, the Regional Law enforcement Commander, explained the steps of all those recalcitrant motorists had been a get worried to culture.

“We are going all out to arrest all those who jump the traffic lights, unlicensed motorbikes, driving of motorbikes among vehicles, individuals without crash helmets and individuals who trip on pedestrian walkways,” he said.

DCOP Boakye Yiadom was speaking to the media in Kumasi immediately after issuing warning letters to some 91 motor riders who had been arrested in the Larger Kumasi location among May 2 and 6.

They were rounded up at the Aboabo, Abrepo and Oforikrom intersections in Kumasi for not obeying targeted visitors polices.

The Police Commander suggested the warned riders not to repeat these kinds of functions on the roadways as the authorities would offer ruthlessly with these caught disregarding motor visitors rules.

He said the workout was going to be sustained through the area to advertise sanity and basic safety on the streets adding that indiscipline, in whatsoever type, had the likely to bring about mishaps.
