As well as being ultra reliable the motor will last a very long time. With less moving parts to worry about there is little that can go wrong. All there is in an electric motor is a coil and drive-shaft, as opposed to the hundreds of moving parts in a traditional combustion engine.

It is possible that your taxes will be lower, as many countries will give you tax breaks and other incentives for green motoring. In the UK where other cars have to pay road tax annually, the tax for electrically propelled vehicles is zero.
