CEBU, Philippines —  An early dawn highway mishap together the countrywide highway of Barangay Buanoy, Balamban, Cebu previous Sunday still left a few adult men useless.

Police Key Christian Torres, Balamban Police Station chief, determined the fatalities as William Dominic Pierson, 23 Dane Caballero Sultan, 23 and Steve Wagas Son, 23. The two Sultan and Son are citizens of Barangay Aliwanay, whilst Pierson is from Barangay Paliwagan.

Quoting the consequence of the initial investigation, Torres explained Renerio Remo, 46, a resident of Barangay Canduman, Mandaue City, was driving a ten-wheeler wing van truck was on his way again to Mandaue Town following offering feeds to a poultry farm.

Torres additional that even though Remo was making an attempt to full the convert, he felt a jolt from the left side of his truck. On examining, he uncovered the motorbike boarded by the a few males beneath the wing van that crashed onto the still left facet of the van.

Torres mentioned Pierson, who was driving the Yamaha scooter, died on the spot. The 1st again rider, Sultan, was declared dead on arriving at the clinic.  Son, who was referred to a Cebu Town clinic, died yesterday.

The victims, who reportedly did not have any protecting gear like a helmet, were reportedly thrown off from their motorbike and landed challenging on the pavement.

“We’re hoping to verify that. Initially, it was mentioned that they ended up drunk for the reason that they were cruising at a higher pace.  And it was close to 1 a.m. so they could have been fearful about the curfew, which might have been the purpose that they had been dashing,” Torres claimed.

Torres also reminded the public to always practice defensive driving and usually dress in security equipment these as helmets when using a bike. Apart from that, he also urged motorists to steer clear of speeding on the highway. — GAN (FREEMAN)
